In fair condition. This guitar comes to us from the family of the original owner. There are condition issues as outlined below. The original owner’s family has decided to sell as is. There are no breaks or cracks to the body. Neck is straight. Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. Spruce top. Mahogany neck. Ebony fingerboard. The following denote condition:

    • Small, hairline, professionally repaired crack on the back of the headstock from the low E tuning machine hole. The crack is stable and does not move and does not extend to the front.
    • Headstock has had shellack applied over the original finish
    • The guitar has had a refret in the past. Current frets need a level and crown.
    • The bridge is lifting
    • Pickguard is not original
    • The bridge pins are not original
    • A section of binding is missing on the neck, treble side, from the nut to the first fret. The break in the binding is smooth and straight suggesting that this may have been a previous repair where the binding has fallen off.
    • There are two cracks on the binding on the base side of the neck at the 3rd and 5th fret markers. These also are straight suggesting a possible binding repair in the past. The binding is secure and stable.
    • There are scrapes and surface scratches present as can be seen in the pictures.
    • An older Fishman pickup system has been installed.
    • The case is a non-original, generic featherlight case.
