1925 Martin 0-21
In very good condition. This 0-21 is in amazing condition for a guitar that is nearly 100 years old. There are no cracks or repairs to the Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. The neck is straight and there is no history or indication of a neck reset in the past, with medium action with plenty of room in the saddle to adjust if desired. Frets have plenty of life left. The Adirondack Spruce top has two cracks on the lower bout. The treble side crack has been previously cleated and repaired. This repair appears to be a well-done older repair. The repair is stable and does not move. The crack on the lower bout, bass side has not been repaired and does move slightly. This crack extends above the bridge. The bridge, bridge pins and bridge plate appear to be original, but there is a shadow on the finish around the bridge that may indicate previous repair work. The bridge is secure and stable. There are various dings and scratches to the back and sides, but nothing major and there is some pick wear to the top. The tuning machines appear original. Recent set up with a level and crown to the frets and new Martin strings. Includes an older, non-original hardshell case as pictured.
